About Our Drivetrain Service
Front-wheel-drive vehicles use CV axles with flexible joints that allow the wheels to steer while delivering power. Rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive vehicles use driveshafts with U-joints and differentials. All-wheel-drive vehicles like many Subaru models have multiple differentials and transfer cases that each need periodic service. Drivetrain problems get worse quickly if ignored. A clicking CV joint will eventually break, leaving you stranded. A worn U-joint can damage the driveshaft or transmission output shaft. We inspect boots, grease condition, and bearing play to catch problems before they fail.
