About Our Brake Service
Brakes wear at different rates depending on driving conditions and vehicle weight. Highway driving is easier on brakes than stop-and-go city traffic. Heavier vehicles like trucks and SUVs wear pads faster than sedans. We measure pad thickness with a caliper and check rotors for warping, scoring, or rust pitting. If the rotors are within specification, we resurface them. If they are too thin or damaged, we replace them. Some vehicles, like many Toyota and Honda models, use integrated rotors that cannot be resurfaced and must be replaced when pads are changed.
